PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This tool is used to calculate the percentage of alcohol in a solution constituted only of water and alcohol. It is as aerometer at constant weight (Baumé). 

An aerometer consists of a cylindrical stem and a bulb weighted with mercury that works both as stabilizing mass and as thermometric substance of a centigrade thermometer with a scale from 0 to 50°. 
The thermometer is necessary to control that the graduation of the alcoholometer occurs at the same temperature (+15°C). 
The volume of liquids changes according to the temperature so the item indications are effective only if the temperature stays always the same. 
On the item there is a graduated scale from 0 to 100.
